Egg Salad and Smoked Salmon Croissant
Ingredients
- Large Curved Croissant
- Water (for brushing)
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Egg salad (prepared with EggSolutions Peeled Hard Boiled Eggs. Please refer to the recipe for Labour Saving Egg Salad)
- Smoked salmon slices
- Lettuce leaves
- Roasted Garlic Aioli
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 360°F. Place the unbaked Lantmannen croissant on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly brush the top of the croissant with water. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning evenly over the top of the croissant.
- Place the baking sheet with the croissant in the preheated oven and bake according to the package instructions (18-20 min).
- Once the croissant is baked and cooled slightly, slice it in half horizontally using a serrated knife.
- Spread a generous amount of roasted garlic aioli on both cut sides of the croissant.
- On the bottom half of the croissant, layer lettuce leaves followed by a generous portion of slices of smoked salmon. Top with egg salad made with EggSolutions Peeled Hard Cooked Eggs.
- Place the top half of the croissant over the fillings to close the sandwich.
- Slice the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately. Serve the sandwich with a side of pickles, potato chips, or a simple green salad for a well-rounded meal.
